Lisa Mayo – Podiatrist

Lisa has been working as a qualified podiatrist ever since graduating in 1984 and commenced working at Jindabyne Podiatry as an Associate and then Principal Podiatrist in 1987. Since that time Lisa has focused on developing a practice that is directed towards family podiatry care and building a team of professionals in the practice that can deliver to you innovative and customised treatment, listening to you and giving you options to address your needs.

It’s now been 25 years and Lisa has transformed Jindabyne Podiatry into a dedicated and friendly practice. Lisa has always showed an interest in sports podiatry and injury management that has strongly influenced the practice, making it the primary focus.

Lisa has continued to develop her professional skills. She shares her knowledge with podiatry groups and students by speaking on trigger point techniques and joint mobilisation. To assist in the professional growth of new graduates, Lisa is part of the external placement program for podiatry students attending University of Western Sydney, Newcastle University and Charles Sturt University.

Lisa loves success, and the pleasure that goes with finding the answers that help you to love your feet. With two teenage boys of her own Lisa, understands how important it is to keep kids pain free, healthy and playing their sport. She especially loves working with kids, to make sure their feet are active, pain free and protected, which allows them to participate on and off the sporting field.

Lisa grew up in the Jindabyne area, sailing at Lane Cove and Hunters Hill Sailing clubs, and playing netball, softball and athletics. Her passion now shows in her career and lifestyle – spending her weekends watching kids playing baseball, squash and basketball, coaching and umpiring baseball and playing softball, and enjoying early morning outdoor fitness classes.
